Chiheb BOUDEN is professor at the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT) where he was successively research engineer, associate Professor and then full Professor in fields pertaining to “renewable energy”, “modelling and simulation of energy systems”, “instrumentation for engineers” and “energy conservation in buildings”.Chiheb BOUDEN graduated in 1984 with a civil engineering diploma from “Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis” (ENIT), a “Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies” in Solar Energy from Paris-Diderot University in 1985 and a “Doctorat” in Physics and Energy from the same university in 1989.He has directed a wide range of research projects supported by the Tunisian Ministry in charge of Scientific Research, the Tunisian Energy Agency in Tunisia as well as industry. He also contributed to many international collaborative research projects including universities from France, Spain, U.K. and Greece and coordinated the Tunisian groups for at least 4 European funded research projects (FP6 and FP7). The most relevant fields are: solar energy conversion and solar energy systems, bioclimatic and solar architecture, human thermal comfort, energy conversion in buildings. He authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications in these areasHe has been repeatedly visiting professor and research fellow at several universities in Europe and in the United States of America.Prof. BOUDEN is very active in the community work and in civil society; he is fellow of many scientific societies and took many responsibilities in National and International Associations.At the level of higher education management, he held the position of Head of the Industrial Engineering Department of ENIT then Director General of the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT) from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, he was nominated as Director General of Higher Education in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He was appointed as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research form February 2015 to August 2016.

Salim Boukebbab is a Professor of Transport Engineering within the Faculty of Sciences Technology at the University of Constantine 1 Frères Mentouri, Algeria. He began his academic journey with a State Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Constantine (1994), followed by advanced studies in France, where he earned a DEA from the Grenoble Polytechnic Institute (1995) and a Ph.D. in Advanced Mechanics from Higher National School of Arts and Métiers (ENSAM), Aix-en-Provence (1998). Before entering academia full-time, Prof. Boukebbab gained significant industrial experience as a project manager at the Motor and Tractor Complex (CMT) from 1999 to 2001. Since returning to the University of Constantine in 2001, he has ascended to the rank of Full Professor and Research Director. He currently serves as the President of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Technology Sciences, having previously held leadership roles such as Director of the Mechanical Research Center and Director of the University Statistics and Prospective Office. His diverse research cover advanced mechanical systems design, automated mechanisms, integrated manufacturing, orthopaedic prosthesis biomechanics, three-dimensional metrology, CAD/CAM technologies, artificial intelligence, urban mobility, and road safety.

Mohamed Zied BABAI is Senior Professor in Operations Management at Kedge Business School. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from École centrale Paris (France) where he also worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant for four years. From October 2006 to September 2008, he joined the Centre for Operational Research and Applied Statistics at the University of Salford (UK), working on a project funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC, UK). His research interests relate primarily to demand forecasting and inventory management with a special emphasis on the development of quantitative models. His work is published in international journals such as Production and Operations Management, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics. He is Editor-In-Chief of Supply Chain Forum: An International Journal (Francis & Taylor) and Associate Editor of IMA Journal of Management Mathematics (Oxford Press).
